Studio Arts Presents Summer Camp Production
​
This production is part of Studio Arts Presents, an educational three-week summer camp program with Saguaro City Studio Arts.
​
Adult performers will collaborate with young campers in a supportive, educational rehearsal process that culminates in a fully staged production.
​
All adult roles are paid positions.
Age Requirement
All adult auditionees must be at least 18 years old.​
If you are under 18, you must be registered for STUDIO ARTS PRESENTS! Summer Camp to be cast in this production. For more information click HERE.
Teaching Artist Requirement
Adult performers cast in this production will also serve as Teaching Artists for our campers.
​
Applicants should genuinely enjoy working with children, as mentoring and supporting young performers is a central part of this program.

Friday May 29th, 5:30-7pm
Camp/Rehearsals:
Saturday June 6th, 8:30am-3:30pm

Mon-Fri June 8th-19th, 8:30am-3:30pm
Camp/Tech:
Mon-Thurs June 22nd-25th, 8:30am-3:30pm
Fri June 26th, 8:30am-5:00pm
Sat June 27th, 10:30am-5pm
Sun June 28th, 10:30am-5pm

Please arrive early to sign in before your scheduled audition time

Prepare
Auditions will begin with a dance/movement call, followed by singing in the order you sign in.
Please:

Wear clothing and shoes appropriate for dance/movement

Prepare music and sides for the character you most connect with or wish to be considered for

An accompanist will be provided.
You may be asked to perform one song and/or one side.
​
Please arrive before your audition slot to sign in and please bring a hard copy of your picture and resume stapled together.

Seeking
GOMEZ ADDAMS
Male-identifying, tenor/baritone. Suave, passionate patriarch of the Addams family. Proud of his eccentric family and deeply devoted to Morticia. Struggles to keep Wednesday’s secret from his wife.
Female-identifying, alto/mezzo. Elegant, commanding matriarch with a sharp wit. Intuitive and strong. Suspects Gomez is hiding something and works to uncover the truth.
MAL BEINEKE
Male-identifying, high baritone/tenor. Lucas’s conservative father. A rigid businessman concerned with reputation and appearances.
ALICE BEINEKE
Female-identifying, soprano. Charming but tightly wound housewife. Often speaks in rhyme and embraces trends and self-help fads. A comedic role that transforms during the dinner party.

Non-binary or male-identifying, tenor/baritone. Vaudeville-style narrator with boundless energy and childlike wonder.
​
ADDAMS ANCESTORS(Ensemble)
All genders, all vocal ranges. Ghostly relatives of the Addams family who narrate and comment on the story.​​​
