WONKA
Adult Auditions
IMPORTANT NOTE: For WILLY WONKA (TYA) all children & teen roles will be cast from our campers enrolled in summer camp.
DESCRIPTION:
Along with producing professional musical theatre productions, Saguaro City also has an educational academy called Saguaro City Studio Arts. The Studio Arts curriculum is shaped by a simple concept - that arts education should be accessible to all children. This is why Saguaro City Music Theatre is honored to offer Studio Arts’ programs free of charge to children and teens of all backgrounds and abilities, including those with special needs.
This June, we will be offering our summer program called STUDIO ARTS PRESENTS, which is a three week musical theatre camp that focuses on learning, rehearsing, and performing a professional live musical theatre production for the public. This year, our campers will be in the ensemble cast of WILLY WONKA TYA, and will have to learn the music, choreography, and staging alongside professional adult performers (YOU!), to create a unique production unlike any other.

SEEKING:
We are seeking actors to play some of the principal roles in Roald Dahl's WILLY WONKA TYA, as well as to be teaching artists, helping to guide and teach our young performers throughout the rehearsal process, lead theatrical learning activities, and to be role models for them. The Characters and roles are described in the Adult Character breakdown. These are all paid positions.
